2017 Oyster Easter

What's Happening?

Spring is just around the corner and with it comes the best and first party of the season. The 55th annual Oyster Easter is April 22 and this year the event is moving to Public Square Park in the heart of downtown Nashville.

“We outgrew our former location,” said event manager Jay Cleveland. “We’re excited to move to a larger venue and expand the event to make it bigger and better than ever.”

Expect the traditional Oyster Easter flourishes of great Cajun food, abundant beer, wine and spirits and lively contests and activities.

And follow the fun as prominent Nashvillians running to be the next Oyster King and Oyster Queen with inventive and entertaining ways to raise money for charity.

Oyster Easter benefits the Community Resource Center, which provides basic new household necessities to more than 80 Middle Tennessee nonprofits for their clients in need.

Official Kickoff Party held at Primings Cigar, downtown Nashville on March 2nd.

Official After Party will be held after the event at The Valentine, downtown Nashville.
