Spring is here and with it comes the best and first party of the season. The 55th annual Oyster Easter is April 22 and this year the event is moving to Public Square Park in the heart of downtown Nashville.

Expect the traditional Oyster Easter flourishes of great Cajun food, oysters, abundant beer, wine and spirits and lively contests and activities included with your ticket.

Follow the fun as prominent Nashvillians running to be the next Oyster King and Oyster Queen with inventive and entertaining ways to raise money for charity.  

Oyster Easter benefits the Community Resource Center, which provides basic new household necessities to more than 80 Middle Tennessee nonprofits for their clients in need. 


2017 Candidates

Cheer on Nashville's most prominent men and women as they vie for the coveted crowns of Oyster King and Oyster Queen. They'll do whatever it takes to win, which is highly entertaining.

The Cause

Established in 1985, the Community Resource Center continues to act as the supply line to the front lines of poverty to over 90 nonprofits and charities throughout Middle Tennessee.

The Party

A cajun feast by South Street, local breweries and distilleries, hourly contests and prizes. silent auction and more. Oyster Easter is more than just a fundraiser, It's a tradition!
